Farmers’ Market — Computer Painting by kenne
Sunday
in the plaza
vendor tables
shaded by tents
fresh produce
baked goods
prickly pear jelly, etc
all locally grown
and produced
products
I stroll
plaza grounds
with my
fresh cup of
cowboy coffee
rubbing
elbows with
friends and
strangers —
life is good

This past weekend we had some of our family visiting. The day started off with a hike down along the Tanque Verde Wash, followed by walking through the St. Phillip’s Farmers Market, then a drive along scenic Hwy 83 to the Arizona wine country where we attended the Elgin Wine Festival.

Some people just couldn’t wait for the produce to be unloaded. Joy and I got an early start at one of several farmer’s markets in the Catalina Foothills. Now we know what we will be doing most every Saturday morning. Great items and the prices are better than Safeway.
