St. Phillips Plaza is a very busy place on Sunday mornings. Each Sunday, many Tucsonians come the Farmer’s Market in the Plaza. This past Sunday was an exceptionally beautiful spring morning in the plaza. Click here to see a complete slideshow.

This past weekend we had some of our family visiting. The day started off with a hike down along the Tanque Verde Wash, followed by walking through the St. Phillip’s Farmers Market, then a drive along scenic Hwy 83 to the Arizona wine country where we attended the Elgin Wine Festival.

The Tucson Jazz Institute is the home of the TJI Ellington Big Band, voted #1 Community Band in the USA, Wynton Marsalis and Jazz at Lincoln Center, performed October 31, 2010, at St. Phillips Plaza as part of the Tucson Jazz Society’s fall “Evening Under the Stars” series.
