Heart Within A Heart
Ther is a heart within your heart A place go when all the trouble starts When your world spins upside down and falls apart There is a heart within your heart
There is a soul within your soul A secret room only angels know Come on baby, leave your fear, rise up and go To the soul within the soul
As people in retirement, age, and cancer limit the risks we can take, which limits when
we can start traveling again. Before the pandemic, we were planning on visiting family
in Virginia and New Hampshire this month. We also hope to be able to attend Jerri and Justin’s
wedding in early August in Austin — we will see. Yes, we are ready to begin traveling,
but HOVID-19 might have another idea.
Bacochibampo Bay (January 24, 2016) — Images by kenne
Bacochibampo Bay is where Hotel Playa de Cortes in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico is located. This is where we stayed January 24, 2016 during our trip to Sonora, Mexico. This traditional and historic hotel founded in 1936, proud of once welcoming celebrities like the mexican actress Maria Felix, the musician Ray Conniff and the American actress and singer Liza Minnelli, as well as important figures of the political world that made a home out of our Guaymas hotel. – See more at: http://www.hotelesgandara.com.mx/english/our-hotels-in-sonora/playa-de-cortes-guaymas/#sthash.ubOD2ngV.dpuf
Wahweap Marina (The Navaho Power Plant In the distance.)
Walking to the boat dock.
Our boat ran.
Leaving Wahweap Marina.
We spent the 2 1/2 hour ride on the upper deck — most were in the shade of the lower deck.
Joy with headset around her neck as the boat was speeding toward some of the small canyon shorelines.

It rained yesterday,
But our day on Lake Powell
Was just meant to be.
The first night of our vacation in Page, Arizona. The next morning we were on Lake Powell before driving on to Springdale, Utah outside of Zion National Park.
Deciding to pull up roots and move from The Woodlands, Texas to Tucson was not an easy decision. But, what about a family of six that decides to travel all 50 states in 12 months? Now that takes a lot of guts, but then, that’s what adventure is all about. “No guts, no glory!” To say the least, we were impressed when we saw this car in the Sabino Canyon parking lot.
