Overlooking the Sabino Dam — Image by kenne
Sabino Canyon Recreation Area is a great place for children to be, but in this age of
coronavirus schools are closed meaning no field trips. Children and adult programs
offered by Sabino Canyon Volunteer Naturalists are now canceled untiled next October.
Like all communities around the globe, we are dealing with a new normal.

Computer Art by kenne
In his robe is white
with bright colored edges
he sings a lullaby
in a pale purple sound.
In this moment
the earth rotates in blue
as seen by the man
in the moon.
A bounty of pigment
his harvest of colors
randomly selected
from the house of earth.

Children, a Stream, and Connecting with Nature — Computer Art by kenne
A picture may seem not what it is.
Two teens may appear more interested in a
phone than a stream slowly passing at their feet.
Like most images, it’s up to the viewer
to place it in some element of their reality.
Put in the contact the image was taken,
the teens are sharing pictures taken in
my iPhone photography class where they
learn to connect the eye, to the mind, to the heart.
