Music is . . .
Music is what
enables me
in my work
soothes me
when I rest
reminds me
of images past
of dreams yet fulfilled.
It is not the words,
nor the beat,
nor the instruments,
nor the relationships —
It is the rhythm
of the moments
composed by
the silence in between.

#####
Music is . . .
a moral law.
It gives soul
to the universe,
wings
to the mind,
flight
to the imagination,
and charm and gaiety
to life and to everything.
