Desert Ragweed

In a land of thorns and thirst,
where silence coats the stones,
desert ragweed rises—
unassuming, wind-blown, bold.

It thrives where others falter,
roots deep in cracked terrain,
tossing pollen like a promise
on the shoulders of the wind.
