Right now, for reasons I have not been able to decern, pain is causing me to spend less time in Sabino Canyon. Months ago, before I got injured, I used to hike from one place to another, moving and accomplishing much. But now, no matter how much I try there is a voice slowing me down, bringing me home to this deeper wisdom that I am. A deeper wisdom is great, but I’m still trying to understand if the deeper wisdom is worth the trade-off.

  2. We don’t get to choose whether it’s worth the trade-off most times. Hang in there and savor what we ended up with is all we’ve got. Best to you in that.

  3. Do what you are able: taking care of your desert-fed spirit trumps all…patio time counts:)

  4. I am elderly with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. CBD oil sure helps a whole lot with inflammation and pain… with no side effects (like all of the pharmaceuticals have). https://www.thecbdistillery.com/

  6. If you do, here are a few tips: Money-wise, from CBDistillery, the cheaper way to go is to get the Isolate powder, like the one gram size. Mix it with around two ounces of canola oil and put it in a two-ounce dropper container (eBay sells those). If you can afford it, get the full spectrum tincture ($60). Full spectrum is supposed to last longer. 2 or 3 drops of the tincture put on a teaspoon and then swiped with your finger to take sublingually (under the tongue) works well. Plus CBD is another good brand (that my wife especially likes for her dystonia). It is a very potent anti-inflammatory, pain-reliever, anti-depressant, and antioxidant.
