I have several balanced rock formations around our home.
It may look like the Zebra-tailed lizard knocked them over,
but the usual culprit is a gust of wind.
This little guy is obviously enjoying the moment.

“Come on baby; I’m waiting for you.”

Rock Balancing — Balance of Power   2 comments

“Balance of Power” — by kenne

My latest rock balancing art is titled, Balance of Power. This one is my largest to date, standing 31″ in height. Sometimes the wind plays hell on the delicate balance. When it does, I see it as an excuse to improve on the balance.

The other day, my neighbor, Rose, was driving out of her drive as I was replacing one of the rock.

“I have some Elmer’s glue,” she said.
“No thanks,” I replied, “that would be cheating.”
I won’t tell,” she said.

I like it when I’m able to line up the rocks. My body feels the connection.

The Took of Olives — Image by kenne

Placed at the base of our olive tree, the Took will funnel the spirit of spring to the olive blossoms about to open.
