Vantage Bridge Over The Columbia River

 

The Vantage Bridge is in western Washington and carries Interstate 90 across the Columbia River,
near Vantage and George, Washington. This section of the river is named Wanapum Lake, the reservoir
formed by Wanapum Dam. The bridge separates the Ginkgo Petrified Forest and Wanapum
Recreational Area State Park on the western bank of the Columbia.

Grandfather Cuts Loose the Ponies (also known as the Wild Horse Monument) is a public art sculpture created
by David Govedare in 1989–1990 and situated near Vantage, Washington. It consists of 15 life-size steel horses
which appear to be galloping across a ridge above the Columbia River.

The Stuart Range

Known for its legendary Enchantment Lakes, The Stuart Range is a mountain range in central Washington.
The range lies within the eastern extent of the Cascade Range immediately southwest of Leavenworth.
