Stacking Rocks Graveyard — Image by kenne
When I walk in the desert
My eyes are the aperture
Through which the
Desert perceives itself,
Becoming conscious of its beauty.
When I walk in the desert
My ears listen To its harmonies
Expanding our presence,
Becoming conscious of its reality.
When I walk in the desert
My mind gathers
The words to say
What can’t be said,
Becoming award of its language.
