To structure reality
separating what was
from what is
and what will be.
Measure human existence
in a moment of being
divide by something gone
from something missing.
Programmed to receive
locked in timeout
we can check-out
but can never leave!
As time goes by
we search for ways
to turn back the
hands of time.
