Having lived over 25 years in the Houston, Texas area, one of the things we miss are azaleas blooming in the springtime. Here in the desert, our little plant began to flourish a month ago.

This is the time of year many communities along the Gulf coast schedule Azalea Trail events. But it doesn’t have to be a formal event to go for a walk or drive through area neighborhoods.
