The darkness begins
a raven flies by
against the gray sky,
golden sunset.

She reads inside
removed from 
the change of day,
not the first time.

Even so, I thought
of her body, dressed
but untouched,
without desire.

Goodbye to the raven
at twilight, exile
is not a vacation —
or is it?
