Hands in Soil (2005) by kenne

Hands in soil,
the old language returns—

not in words,
but in what we choose
to plant together.

Our friends Jerri and Jerry Bernhardt are celebrating 14 wonderful years of success. Some of us were around in the early days of getting their Houston Hill Country winery off the ground, literary by helping to plant the vineyard in the spring of 2005. We wish them continued success! — kenne

Jerri's daughterJerri Bernhardt’s Photo of Her Daughter

There’s a little winery in Plantersville, Texas owned by Jerri & Jerry Bernhardt — Bernhardt Winery. We have known them since before they started the winery on a hill with great sunsets in east Texas. This evening Jerri posted the photo on Facebook of her daughter that I just love. They not only have great wine, but also a great website. Check it out.
