It an’t over till the fat lady sings is a colloquialism, essentially meaning that one should not assume the outcome of some activity until it has actually finished. Well, it’s time for the fat lady to sing on Obama’s birth nation. But, just as there are those who believe the north never won the Civil War, there are those who will continue to question the facts.
As noted in The Christian Science Monitor, “Revenge, they say, is a dish best served cold. But President Obama didn’t have to wait long to set out a big helping for Donald Trump at Saturday night’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner.”

Since moving to Tucson I have learned a lot about our new community. Our first source of local information came from our subscription to the Arizona Daily Star.
There is much I like, as well as dislike about the Star, one of my favorite is David Fitzimmons’, “My View.” His cartoons are both every entertaining and informative. Maybe it helps that I share David’s view on most things.

Maybe bookstores need to become Internet Cafe‘s. Or, Starbuck’s should have a book corner rather than the other way around.
