Mountain Goldenrods On Mt. Lemmon   Leave a comment

Wildflowers begin to bloom in early spring at the lower elevations.
As spring moves into summer wildflowers, move to the higher elevations.
The peak bloom season is mid-summer. October 11th, we hiked the Box Camp Trail
in the Santa Catalina Mountains, impressed by the many wildflowers along the trail.
Among them were mountain goldenrods lodged in the cricks of boulders.
