Capturing The Moment — Shadow On The Wall   4 comments

Shadow on the wall

a mark soon to fade,

escaping

with the setting sun.

Still-life in the darkness

the magic of light gone,

missing

its shadow companion.

Captured and marked

by pixeled contrast,

painting

with a digital palette.

  1. I’d like to see more of your poetry here, Kenne. I always enjoy it. This is a soothing poem and helps to explain what you are up to with your photographs.

    • Thanks. I currently have an image that so impressed me when I captured the moment that a poem will be forthcoming. Photographs help serve as a way of expressing myself through poetry. Again, thanks.

  2. Love the poem, love the imagry. Sweet!

Shadows frequently inspire me to write poetry and create art creating connections beyond the word and art alone. — kenne
