  1. What a lovely place, welcome at the end of a hike for sure. Reminds me of a hot spring I used to go to in ’69’ on weekend trips from Hollywierd. It was up in the Los Angles Mts somewhere, we had to hike for 45 minutes down a path to get there. Oh, such a wonder filled place it was for a hazy crazy hippie! Hot springs were holy to me, and this one was series of pools some barely big enough for a sitz bath, but the largest was big enough for a dozen folks. About 20′ from the large pool was a cold stream that we would use when the big pool got to be to much. We would stay there for two glorious nights and after one last soak in the big hot pool we would pack up and hike back up that path. The hardest hike ever after two days and nights of hot soaking. OMG it was all I could do to make it back up to the car, and I was only 19! But what a memory, still pretty vivid after 43 years! So thanks Keene, for the lovely reminder!
