Trail To Maiden Pools — Panorama by kenne
Chaste goddess, well indeed thou knowest that I
Desire to be a virgin all my life,
Nor ever wish to be man’s love or wife.
I am, thou know’st, yet of thy company,
A virgin, who loves the hunt and venery,
And to go rambling in the greenwood wild,
And not to be a wife and be with child.

Ode To My Store Window Goddess
It was love at first sight,
Never just a mannequin
In a store window —
She inspired visions
Of the Greek goddess,
Aphrodite
Standing there
Where silence reigns —
In her silence
I was touched
By her beauty.
I could feel
Her love,
Capturing all
Eden’s lust
From my heart —
Now imprisoned
In my store window
goddess.
. . . she speaks to me in my solitude.
