Raven In the Storm — Image by kenne

The raven grips the crooked limb
as if the whole sky might slip away.

Clouds bruise the distance.

Wind tugs at every loose thing—
except this raven,
who has already made a pact
with the storm.

  1. Thank you, Kenne, for the raven and the poem inspired by the bird!

  3. You’re welcome, Kenne.

  4. Haunting capture! It has been unusually windy here in Tasmania for months also 😳 We’ve only had a few scattered days of “summer”.
