but lives in shades of gray—
a continuum of motion,
substance unfolding
without division.
No soul above,
no flesh below,
only parallel lines
where thought and body
trace the same curve.
Each gesture,
each ache,
each quiet breath—
a necessary note
in the gray music
of existence.
