Morning In The Window Light — Photo-artistry by kenne

In the hush of morning,
she sits nude in the window light,
a hand mirror lifted
like a small sun in her palm.

She leans toward her reflection,
steady, unhurried,
painting soft lines of color
onto the canvas of her face.

Day waits beyond the glass,
but here she paints
her first quiet claim upon it—
in light,
in stillness,
in her own beginning.

  1. Your writing is so vivid and beautifully descriptive it really pulls the reader into the moment. If I get the chance, I’d love to learn more about the inspiration behind your work and about you as an artist

  2. Photography has been a passion of mine for many years. I love being creative and spending time in nature. This image of my muse was created some years ago. I only recently wrote the poem and she loves it. Thank you for the comment. It is most appreciated.
