Hiking in the Santa Catalina Mountains can be a beautiful and adventurous experience under a brilliant blue sky. Occasionally we do experience dramatic cloudy skies — this blog site can contest this. One such day that is an exception was this past Friday. However, it was a warm day, so the clouds made a long hike easier to handle.

Fabulous clouds that day. I just love those heavy cloud formations. I think they add to the drama in the photographic story don’t you.
