Wildflowers Color The Mountain Meadows From Blossom To Blossom — Image by kenne
There are days we live
as if death were nowhere
in the background; from joy
to joy to joy, from wing to wing,
from blossom to blossom to
impossible blossom, to sweet impossible blossom.
— from the Li-Young Lee poem “From Blossoms”

Someone once told me that we all live on death row…..and still, as we go through life, we find a way to smile.
This poem by Li-Young Lee looks at life and death in a much more positive way! Very nice.
Beautiful wildflowers, Kenne.
Thank you. I really like Lee’s poetry.
Wish I was walking in that meadow to enjoy the beautiful colors all around me.
That’s way I share. I know it’s not the same, but capturing the moment gives you something to store away until the opportunity for you prevails.
Kenne, I love your beautiful posts. Cannot resist reblogging this, hope it is ok. Thank you, Heart.
Sure, thanks for the reblog.
