Edi Moore On The Turkey Run Trail — Image by kenne
The two groups I hike with each week (one on Monday and one on Friday) hiked the same trail this week — Turkey Run Trail on Mount Lemmon. I took a few photos Monday and decided to shoot video on Friday.
We hiked in 65-70 degree temperatures, returning to 100 degree temperatures in Tucson, which is why we hike on Mount Lemmon during the summer months.
It is still early for the mountain wildflowers, but by mid-July there should be plenty to photograph — assuming we get some rain on the very dry Catalinas.
