It is refreshing and confiding to have an informed, diligent and pragmatic leader at this critical time in history. In this past Sunday’s The New York Times Magazine, an interview with President Obama by David Leonhardt was published, “After the Great Recession.”

This is must reading.

RYLA Alumni, Trainers, and Rotarians Prepare for High School Juniors

ryla-high-elements-0101-blog1Rotarians, RYLA alumni, trainers and volunteers began gathering at the Pineywood Baptist Encampment Thursday (January 8th) for students participating in this year’s three-day Rotary Youth Leadership Awards.  Rotary District 5910 encourages young leaders to improve their skills by providing them with quality leadership techniques.

As part of the orientation in preparation for the students, trainers have an opportunity to do the High Elements in the Ropes Course, while others receive Low Elements orientation. Click here to see photo set.
