In eight days, Rotary District 5910 will be sending a Group Study Exchange Team to District 4920 in Argentina for one month.  It has been my pleasure to coordinate the team preparation process. Yesterday, our District Governor, Roger McCabe, met with the team in their final preparation session at Lone Star College – Montgomery. Signs of expected anxiety was beginning to show as the days grow short before departure.

ryla-high-elements-0101-blog1Rotarians, RYLA alumni, trainers and volunteers began gathering at the Pineywood Baptist Encampment Thursday (January 8th) for students participating in this year’s three-day Rotary Youth Leadership Awards.  Rotary District 5910 encourages young leaders to improve their skills by providing them with quality leadership techniques.

As part of the orientation in preparation for the students, trainers have an opportunity to do the High Elements in the Ropes Course, while others receive Low Elements orientation. Click here to see photo set.
