In Another System of Coordinates
Every event lives within its own commons—
a weaving of place, people, and purpose.
Step outside that frame,
and what was meaning becomes data,
what was presence becomes record.
We call it the same event,
but it is not.
The act of naming is already a distance,
a quiet colonizing of the moment.
To know truly
is to dwell inside the happening—
to let the sun, the dust,
the pulse of others nearby
be the only measure that matters.
