Snow On Mountain — Image by kenne
In the mountain’s it’s cold
Always been cold, not just this year.
Jagged scarps forever snowed in
Woods in the dark ravines spitting mist.
Grass is still sprouting at the end of June,
Leaves begin to fall in early August.
And here am I, high on mountains,
Peering and peering, but I can’t even see the sky.

Snow on every branch always makes a beautiful picture. Here in Ohio, we have only had one snow this winter, which is very unusual. I don’t miss driving in the snow, but I miss seeing it on the trees as otherwise, the world is rather gray right now.
