This is the 4,000th posting on this WordPress blog, Becoming Is Superior Being — Image by kenne
After two years of blogging on Yahoo’s now defunct, Yahoo 360, I began blogging on WordPress.com April 2008. This posting marks number 4,000.
“The photographer is always trying to colonize new experiences or find new ways to look at familiar subjects — to fight against boredom. For boredom is just the reverse side of fascination: both depend on being outside rather than inside a situation, and one leads to the other. ‘The Chinese have a theory that you pass through boredom into fascination,’ Arbus noted.” (Diane Arbus)

Am sure you know why this is meaningful for me. Those were great years. We were young and idealistic, but isn’t that partly why it was special?
I sure do. By the way, did I tell you I still have the original framed Klee poster? The colors have faded a little, it’s still hanging around.
Thanks. Friendship and mutual respect can transcend decades.
A great accomplishment, born of blood, sweat, and tears (most desert induced?) Look forward to 4,000 more!
Be proud of your accomplishments and never let boredom be part of your vocabulary.
Wow! That’s a lot at 4k posts. I bet your views is well into a million! Cheers!
Congratulations Kenne!
