From the looks of that bushy tail, it’s going to be a rough Winter wherever this is! My grandma told me you could tell about the Winter by how full their tails get. Down here in the South, the squirrels all have small tails.
Great knowledge…. I’m on the Left Coast in Sonoma County and yes the squirrels tails are getting bushy… They know something forecasters don’t
Ha ha…yeah, I still carry a lot of Grandma’s wisdom, though, not too sure how accurate the information! She was a wise woman though. If the squirrels are preparing then so should we. I miss Winter, sometimes.
A bushy tail for tells a cold winter… Not good…
For what it’s worth, I’m in Tucson, but this squirrel image was taken a couple weeks ago in Kingwood, Texas.

I have to admit that mice and rats give me the creeps, but somehow squirrels are cute.
