Capturing The Moment — Panoramic Views Of The Salt River Canyon   6 comments

The Salt River Canyon is located between Globe and Show Low, Arizona on HWY 60. These images were taken after recent rains in the area, which caused the river to be very red from the rum-off. A week earlier, heavy rain had forced the closure of US 60 through the Salt River Canyon.

  1. Where you in a Plane taking these p[photos or up on a reservation? I had my camera but with brakes burning up and white knuckle driving the memory for me was better than any photo I could have taken lol We had gone out to Snowflake to look at a home for sale off the grid then came this way down into Stanton to tent on BLM land 3 or 4 winters ago 🙂 Now I have photos to show others Thank You lol

    • Thanks, the photos were taken for a couple of stops along HWY 60 — took two shots each and merged in Photoshop.

      • Yes I was probably in those pull off areas cooling brackes on big heavy Chevy Van 🙂 Wish my computer was not too old to try Photoshop everyone says they LOVE IT I will just keep uning my easy share and muddle about lol It has all the settings and manual ones till I can afford a really good one but for my yard and trips now I am OK now the computer is another story! Love your shots though thanks I miss the west
