In Escalante Canyon near Delta, Colorado, where I was born, there is a stone house used by one of the first hermit settlers in Western Colorado. These photos remind me of a childhood when we climbed up to the shack and spent some hours thinking about the man who built and lived in the shack in such a wild, remote place and his life. These shacks are built from different stones, but represent a fond memory nevertheless. Thank you, Kenne.
