Last Friday, while hiking the Sabino Canyon Phoneline Trail, the morning sun had not yet made it into the canyon floor. However, the upper canyon walls were a flush with sunlight and at the proper angle reflected on the Sabino Canyon Creek below. When first noticed, the view was very eerie from the trail above — the creek was on fire.
