Here we are near the end of desert monsoon season and we are starting to get rain — a lot of it! The amount of rain over the last few days has saturated the ground, causing these little guys to come out onto side-walks and pavements — they don’t want to drawn!

I am so jealous! It seems like everywhere in the world is getting rain except Texas…now even the desert is getting rain.
All that rain so needed but strange to those critters not used to it! I loved the picture of the snails on their “higher ground”! And love the image of rain on the patio, cool balanced rock sculpture you have there. I love garden art like that, natural, but enhanced by the efforts of man.
. . . I have several balanced rock sculptures in the front and back, also in the neighborhood. You know how it is, they just appear from time to time.
