    This Hendrix lyric is often misquoted. I’ve heard it sung, “Excuse me, while I kiss this guy.” Wasn’t purple
    haze a kind of LSD ? Just asking…

    . . . depends on who was in the room at the time and who passed it on; what the next guy was on when he said what he said. By the time I got it, God only knows what the f*** Jimi said.
