    I used to live in New Orleans. Your photo is exactly how Decatur, Canal and Royal streets looked to me during Mardi Gras (after drinking several Hurricanes with a tequlia chaser).
    Jackson Square looked round. When I walked next to the levee, the Delta Queen’s water line was at eye level. Those were moments better left to “Catch and Release”.

    Music update — we are going to see Cindy Lauper tonight and The Band of Heathens Tuesday.

    We continue to miss all our friends in Houston.
