Two-Tailed Butterfly — Photo-Artistry by kenne

Some critic tried to put me down —
“Your poems lask the Basic Truth of Tao”
And I recall the old-timers
Who were poor and didn’t care
I have to laugh at him,
He misses the point entirely,
Men like that
Ought to stick to making money.

I liked your thoughts and I agree.

Please read and enjoy the work of a talented writer.
Hmm. Many years ago, before I actually began my blog, I wished to determine how folks would respond to my butterfly images. We invited 3 couples to our home, all well educated and all city people. Frieda A”H put out coffee and cake ( OMG!) and I treated our friends to some 30 of so of my images. As one of them was getting ready to leave later, he said in normal voice. “If I had known that people wanted to be butterflies, I’d of gotten out my camera and taken pictures of the moths in our closet.” So shared the lawyer. To-date I’ve not forgotten that. Kenne, by now you know that your work if extraordinary and the Love in it shows . . . .
Your comment is most appreciated.
I like this poem, Kenne.
Gary Synder is one of my favorite poets. We went to a reading he did at the U of A Poetry Center a few months after we moved to Tucson. https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poets/gary-snyder
