Today Joy and I attended a Cubs spring training game against the Dodgers in Mesa at the Hohokum Stadium with Jeri and Ron (Joy’s sister and brother-in-law). Even though the Cubs lost, watching today’s game could cause me to get the baseball fever again. Tomorrow we will watch the Cubs play the Angels.

My son is going to that Cubs game tomorrow (while I babysit). Small world!
. . . isn’t it though!
Looks like fun! What a beautiful day!
I am a Mariners fan, though they haven’t the best track record. Never cared much for baseball till I worked at Safeco Field it’s first season open. I managed a beer bar there through 32 games of the season, and for some reason found myself appreciating the game more. Something about being there….I got into watching the game while I worked (we had like 4 TVs around the bar to watch and about the only time we were busy was when the the other team was up to bat. I now enjoy watching any two teams, the game itself is the draw for me now. But, will always be rooting for those Mariners. Go Mariners! Go Cubs!
