The Wave In March   3 comments

This March 19-22, five fellow hikers and I will be hiking the Wave in the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument. The February National Geographic issue has an article on this beautiful area, titled, “Rock of Ages.” The photography is by Richard Barnes, one of which is shown above. I hope to return with a lot of beautiful images of this natural landscape.

  1. Oh, wow, lucky you! I am looking forward to the photos you get there. Enjoy your trek, oh my!
    When I was 6 made a trip to the Grand Canyon and the Painted Desert, but my memories of the experience are very fuzzy.
