Capturing the Word — A Song of Silence   3 comments

A Song of Silence

Music is
what enables you
in your work,
soothes you
when you rest
reminds you
of images past
of dreams yet fulfilled.

It is not the words,
nor the beat,
nor the instruments,
nor the relationships.
It is the rhythm
of the moments,
composed by the
silence in between.

  1. Been following your posts for a couple months now, and am catching up on some from when my internet was off. I really like your photos. Occasionally your poetry hits home as well. I really like this one.

What would the rhyme of the music be without the silence in between the notes? — kenne
