In moving to Tucson, there is no way we will be able to duplicate the variety of life music available in the Houston area, nor would we expect to. Still, there are blues lovers everywhere, so we look forward to experiencing that available in southern Arizona.
I’m aware, to some degree, of the blues community in the Tucson area and the Tucson Blues Society since Sweet Willie D played in the same club Sonny Boy Terry did when we were attending the International Blues Challenge (IBC) in Memphis this past January. As in the past, I’m sure I will be photographing and videoing the Tucson blues scene.
