Ezra Charles and The Texas Blues Band
What was almost ruined, because of heavy rains most of the day, turned out to be the best ever of the Bernhardt Winery Porch Series — even with the band not on the porch, but inside the winery. Ezra and the band more than made up for what may have been an inconvenience for some. The only thing missing was a beautiful sunset so common to this venue.

Great video, Kenne. I didn’t realize how well it worked for the horns to go outside till I saw this!
Great job Ken–seems as though you have taken well to the idea of video. I did not realize you were videoing while I was dancing, good job. It was a wonderful night and a superb job by Ezra. Keep up the good work and I figure I will see you again before too long.
I’m sure our paths will cross again soon — obviously, we seem to like a lot of the same things.
I’m currently setting in a Starbucks in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
I have not seen you lately. I have been to the Pub several times but the talent is generally not awesome but it is always decent enough. I am dancing in the Vaudeville production being done at the Crighton the next 2 week ends. Since I am a fairly big time dancing in terms of effort if not talent and i got the opportunity, I grabbed it. Angela and I are doing a kind of Fred Astaire type dance with Foxtrot and Tap dancing. There are some really talented performers and the show has gotten some nice reviews. Not to mention the Crighton which is just awesome. They have done a marvelous job. After the show I think I am headed to the Northeast to see the leaves in Maine and Vermont, so hope to see you soon. Fred
Kathy and I want to go! When you come home let’s go to the winery! Maybe your video makes it so appealing!
That’s a deal!
I love this Texas blues band and the acoustics were fabulous that day inside the Bernhardt Winery. The band put on an outstanding show. Looking forward to hearing them again.
