Most people live in The Woodlands, because they like being close to nature – an opportunity to share the woods with many animals common east Texas. Though, occasionally the sharing can be costly.
Darting across streets from the greenbelts can create decision confusion, both for the animal and the driver. Often fear takes over resulting in second-guessing the decision, turning back rather than staying the course.
Today, a frisky squirrel did just that – death was quick. Equally quick were vultures to seize on the squirrel’s ill-fated decision. Where do these birds hide? We know they too share the woods, but the appearance of these scavengers always brings on the macabre.
Even so, these birds play an important role in helping clean-up life’s bad decisions. What a perfect metaphor for today’s economy and politics. If you look carefully, you can see the vultures…
