An Open Letter To Rotary   Leave a comment

For 16 years, I was a member of the Rotary Club of Conroe. Rotary is one of the best international service organization. Before joining in 1993, I had been asked several times to become a member. I had a lot of respect for Rotary International; especially it’s 4-Way Test:

1.    Is it the TRUTH?
2.    Is it FAIR to All Concerned?
3.    Will it Build GOODWILL and Better Friendships?
4.    Will it Be BENEFICIAL to All Concerned?

However, I declined each invitation because I was not interested in belonging to an organization that did not allow women to become members. That all changed in 1989, so the next time I was asked, I became a Rotarian.

Even though I’m no longer a member, I continue to live each day following the 4-Way Test. — kenne
