W G Jones State Forest
. . . day four of “Our National Parks.” Inspired by the spirit of so many great Americans for the outdoors, I spent most of this day in W. G. Jones State Forest just north of The Woodlands. It was inspiring. No national park, but a beautiful example of the woods of east Texas. Just a little piece of America’s beauty, which in my mind includes the woods that are The Woodlands, Texas.
