We spent a few days in the cool temperatures of the White Mountains with some friends from Tucson.
The plan was to get in some hiking and fishing in the National Forests. However, because of the continuing
drought conditions and fires in Arizona, the National Forests in the White Mountains are closed —
not the case for Indian Reservations like the Fort Apache Indian Reservation.
