This is a post from two years ago. My sentiment remains the same. Still working on the belonging part. This Thanksgiving, we are hibernating at home, where we belong. HAPPY THANKSGIVING! — kenne

I feel a kinship with my Canyon friends. It’s a big family gathering for which I have problems. That’s why, in its own way, this year is special for Joy and me.

Spending Thanksgiving at home also and enjoying the quiet. I always like the quote “God gave us friends to make up for our relatives.” Large gatherings can be stressful.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones.
“Although Thanksgiving comes but once a year, every day should be a day of Thanks. Among all the challenges that we face as people with hearing loss there are certainly brighter moments in every day – moments that deserve to be recorded in our Gratitude Journal.”
