Hiking On Christmas Day — 2010   1 comment

Christmas 2010 was the first time in years without family,
so we spent it hiking and swimming.
We hiked for about two hours in Ventana Canyon,
which is about a ten-minute drive from our house.
We thought we would be alone on the trail,
but many others took advantage
of the 70-degree weather and great outdoors.

I hoped that hiking on Christmas day would become an annual activity,
but the family has won out — so here we are in Houston.
Still, it remains one of my favorite Christmas’.

Christmas Day 2010 came to a beautiful end.
