Hiking On Christmas Day   1 comment

Ventana Canyon (Darker area in center) Images by kenne

This Christmas was the first time in years without family, so we spent it hiking and swimming. We hiked for about two hours in Ventana Canyon, which is about a ten minute drive from our house. We thought we would be alone on the trail, but many others took advantage of 70 degree weather and great outdoors. The above picture was taken from our patio, zooming in on the canyon. We hope to make this an annual Christmas Day activity.

CHRISTMAS PAST #10 — Christmas Day 2010 was our first Christmas in Tucson and our first time not with family. The weather was beautiful, so we went for a hike in nearby Ventana Canyon.
